Clear is a medical device used for non-invasive treatment of skin irregularities. High frequency currents are used on the skin’s surface to erase the imperfections and leave your skin unblemished and refined.

Prior to Treatment:

  • Avoid if you:
  • Are pregnant
  • Used Accutane in the last 6 months
  • Have a nickel allergy
  • Have a pacemaker or heart condition
  • Have high blood pressure (anticoagulants may affect treatment)
  • Have recently tanned via tanning bed, spray, cream, and/or sun exposure
  • Products with glycolic or salicylic acid
  • Products with benzoyl peroxide
  • Retinol products
  • Antibiotics that make your skin photosensitive

Treatment:

  • A small probe will be used lightly to touch your skin while applying high frequency currents onto the skin irregularity. This restricts nutrition and blood flow from reaching the treatment area, allowing for the removal of the skin irregularity and leaving you with desired results.
  • Cleanse treatment area.
  • May apply topical anesthetic to numb the area.
  • Lightly touch the treatment area with a small probe.

Treatment Duration:

  • Sessions are in 15 minute intervals

After Treatment:

  • For effective results:
  • Use:
  • Repair cream
  • Sunscreen if needed
  • Cold compress
  • Abstain from:
  • Rubbing or picking scabs (pat dry any crusting)
  • Direct sunlight
  • Vigorous exercise
  • Using hot water (hot tubs or steam rooms) on treated skin
  • Scrubs, retinol, or bleaching products

Treatment results:

Results may be immediate for some conditions
  • Certain conditions may take up to 2 weeks to heal
  • Some responses may be redness, irritation, scabs/crusting
